Patients have their choice of 5 optometrists at Complete Vision Care. Our doctors each have a unique emphasis, but all provide family optometric care as well. Our professional staff are ready to assist your family with both routine eye care as well as specialized services.
Dr. Bury graduated in 1995 and has an emphasis on geriatrics, ocular disease and primary care. Dr. Schlange has been with the practice since 1999 and still teaches full-time at the Illinois College of Optometry. His emphasis is primary care and binocular vision. Dr. Narbone has been involved with the practice since her graduation in 2007. Her emphasis is pediatrics, vision therapy and primary care. Dr. Luty joined the practice after her graduation in 2010. Her emphasis is cornea, contact lenses and primary care. Dr. Kasper was a patient of the practice since grade school and is our newest optometrist. Her emphasis is primary care, pediatric care, contact lenses and surgical co-management.
The practice was founded in 1951 by Dr. Floyd Woods. From the very start, the practice distinguished itself with community service, ethics and pediatrics. Dr. Woods moved to 5511 W. 95th in the early 1960s and worked with local schools to ensure that area children had every visual tool at their disposal for academic success. He obtained his Masters in Education so that he could more effectively communicate with Educators in their own language. Dr. Bury worked with Dr. Woods throughout school, starting in 1989. The two became business partners and dear friends until his death in 2008.
The Complete Vision Care staff have worked to keep Dr. Woods’ legacy of service and advocacy for patients alive at Complete Vision Care. The doctors and staff are all committed to providing patients with their very best. In a time when “care” is an afterthought in many health care settings, Complete Vision Care puts compassionate care at the forefront of everything they do. In 2006 the practice moved to its current location at 6209 W. 95th Street. They rehabbed the old Southwest Auto and Radiator facility into a completely modern state-of-the-art 3,500 square foot facility.
